Admissions Requirements
Applicants to Professional Education Atlantic College must be:- 18 years of age or older
- a high school Graduate
- proficient in English
Application Process
Individuals wishing to apply for admission to pursue a Certificate or Diploma Program follow this 2-step application process. Notes about the Application Process- Professional Education Atlantic College accepts for admissions consideration official college and university credentials that show graded coursework taken in pursuit of and/or the award of an educational program.
- Any document sent by an applicant and/or student in support of their application may be reviewed by relevant institutions, including the institution issuing the documentation and/or by approved Professional Education Atlantic College credential evaluation services. Applicants and/or students will be responsible for any additional fees required for third-party evaluation.
Professional Education Atlantic College Application Process – Step 1
Applicants must:- Complete the paper application that requests information about the individual and his/ her educational history.
- Pay the $20 non-refundable application processing fee for domestic students and $40 for international students.
- Show evidence of English Language proficiency.
- Be a native English speaker; or
- Show evidence of having earned a credential from a college or university where English was the primary language of instruction; or
- Provide an official transcript indicating completion of at least 10 semester credit hours with an average grade of “C” (2.00 on a 4.00-point scale) or higher at an accredited college or university where the language of instruction was English; or
- Provide a score report that shows having met the minimum score requirement on one of the following English proficiency qualification exams:

Apply – Credential Seeking Student (CSS) – Step 2
Minimum Requirements – Provisional Admission Program (PAP) While studying under the provisional admission program, individuals wishing to be admitted for study as a credential seeking student must submit proof of high school completion. At their discretion, they may also submit official transcripts of any college work that they may have done.- Students who complete the first two courses with a grade of 2.00 or higher in each course and who have submitted the official documentation may be admitted beginning studying towards the chosen educational program as early as the very next semester.
- Students who do not earn a 2.00 or higher in each of their first two courses may take up to a maximum of five courses in the provisional admission program. Individuals in this group must earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher and submit the required documentation to be admitted to the chosen educational program.
